BLVCK Friday
On Black Friday we went down to Fairfax to support our boy Mega at BLACK SCVLES concept store which was in Hall of Fame. There were several people there aswell as Mega & Rob helping out all of their customers on a one on one basis which was great to see. The set up was clean and simple, they also had some exclusive shirts for their concept store.
This is the exclusive LA shirt that they had on hand that your boy had to get dirty with….
You can see how clean and simple the setup was..
After Fairfax we stopped by La Brea to pick up some Stussy tacos
The tacos were on deck…
Then after La Brea we headed all the way to China Town to do some more work on Philippe’s french dipped sandwiches… I should have Double dipped.

Watching the paint dry….
We were at the Montana show last weekend and after all the news revolving around Revoks arrest we can’t support such a gallery (We support the artists), so were just going to post a few pics of the show…. Here’s our younger brother Jacob finally coming out with us.
Revok doing what he does best, BOSSS!
Grandma gettin up….

They also had a drawing competition in which you had to do a piece in your black book and the top 3 were picked out by the Montana artists on hand.

I know I look like shit but give me a break it was Sunday…. laundry day. After the Montana show we got to meet Levi or as most of you might know him MAESTRO KNOWS. Maestro is definitely a guy that we truly look up to for soo many reasons, one being that he does everything for himself and doesn’t ask for hand outs. One of the quotes that Maestro goes by is “You gotta work hard and do for yourself, cause nobody else is gonna do what you want for you”. We think this quote is perfect for people that are out there pushing for what they want in life. People now a days really believe that they should be handed everything but in reality its the people that truly work hard that will succeed in what they want. We can’t begin to explain how much Maestro inspires us in our day to day lives especially when it comes to the clothing company that we are trying to build. All we can say is ‘Keep it coming’ and were sure that Maestro will be here to inspire generations to come.
Playing with toys…
This past saturday was Designer con in Pasadena, so we decided to take a little trip to check it out. Traffic wasnt that bad on the way there but traffic was horrible on the way back so we had to cut through into downtown and china town which reminded me that we need to hit up Phillips… I still havnt had my french dip. The show itself was pretty cool they had all types of new Vinyl toys along with apparel and live painting. There were tons of people on hand at this event including half naked girls with guys drooling all over them.
You’ve gotta know by now…
Neil Winn wa on hand drawing like a mad man… His work was soo detailed it’s ridiculous

Some guy at the show was definetly doin it with this fixer..

LEGACY “Fine Headwear & Apparel”
On saturday I started my day off by stopping by LEGACY to visit the homey Wes. I also picked up some of the new benny gold, Boooossss. There’s no shop like this in the bay area, all you see around these parts is Tilly’s and No Fear Shops. Legacy has goods from Benny Gold, Black Scale, Diamond, Upper Playground and the list goes on, they always have the new releases from everyone especially when it comes to headwear.
As you can see from the pictures there is an ongoing theme surrounding bikes which is really unique
You can’t find any of these hats in the beach area and thats why Legacy is so well respected
Stay Gold

Bacon Hotdogs Part 2
We were in Downtown the other day and decided to stop by Crewest to pick up a few supplies and check out their new show ‘Top of the Dome VI’. This was an exhibition of ceramic skulls customized by dozens of artists. If you’ve never been to Crewest, your definitely missing out on one of the premiere street art gallery’s in Downtown. After checking out the gallery we got a chance to talk to Man One, the founder and director of Crewest. It’s always good to see when the owner of a company actually run their business and is involved in every aspect of it. Man One is a down to earth guy with crazy artistic skills. The layout of the retail space inside of Crewest is like none that you have seen, just look at the pictures below….BOSSS!

Golden Age
Last night was the Opening for Dabs and Myla’s show ‘Golden Age’ at the New Puppy Gallery. The gallery was packed all night long with a ton of artists on hand including Philip Lumbang and Craola to just name a few. The show itself was incredible and the art of Dabs and Myla was very original and inspiring. Dabs and Myla are artists from Melbourne that are influenced by graffiti and fine art. You can really see the mixture of graffiti and the attention to fine detail in each painting.
It’s nice to see when the artists paint on the walls behind their painting’s but Dabs and Myla really went all out and painted every inch of their space in the gallery, their doin it big!

Building an empire…
